Sonic Foundry created the Rich Media Impact Awards program in 2005 to recognize excellence in the practical and creative integration of Mediasite in business, education, health and government. Members of the Mediasite user community are invited to nominate organizations that achieved measurable improvements in information accessibility, cost savings, efficiency and productivity through Mediasite.

This presentation describes how the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has been able to develop a highly effective ROI and marketing plan over the course of one year. Targeted webcasted messages were utilized in the university’s $16 million stadium complex drive, and currently in a $44 million academic building fund drive. Webcasting has also been highly successful from disseminating technology information to the webcasting of national political candidates. The ROI has been extraordinarily high in terms of funding, efficiency and time savings. The university’s webcasts reach national and international audiences.
